How to get better in tune with the world thinking and breathing through its seasons, its creatures, its calamities, its oceans, land, and its atmosphere.daniela elzahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14672325497283014741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7555516329392912719.post-89360657219802347992010-03-15T18:27:20.039+00:002010-03-15T18:27:20.039+00:00This is lovely. Thank you for posting such beautiful poems.

Striking, in the poem as is explained in Daniela Elza’s interview, is the sense of breath in the poem; how the breath and being is made different, altered in/by the power of the harmattan. … How we experience the harmattan as a being, a life-force, mysterious and familiar. The poem places us honestly in this memory, visceral, of childhood enveloped in the mystery of nature/life; a childhood aware of its own education. The images are breath-taking (literally).

And as much as I love the poem completely in all its ways, I also appreciate the conversation that grows from the poem, the consideration of language [what it might be and what it might and might not be able to do] and form, Daniela’s craft and practice. It is especially nice to hear Daniela’s voice and she speaks to poetry: I understand a relationship with the poetry that is something playful, intimate, attentive, brave, humble, wise and delightful. – Inspiring

Again, thank you for making available this wonder-ful poetryChristi Kramerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09029140454939635196noreply@blogger.com
